Energy transition is supported by innovative companies. One of those companies is Heliox, market leader in fast charging systems for electric vehicles. Sibel Çapar (32) works for Heliox as a Human Resources Officer. As an international player, she exchanged Istanbul for Veldhoven. Because she finds it important to speak the local language, she followed a Dutch training course at STE Languages.

STE Languages has received the two-yearly Cedeo “Business Training” accreditation with a very good result: 96.3% of our customers/clients found our services “good to very good”. How great that is! STE Languages is a vibrant inter-cultural meeting place. Annually, more than 4,500 students of more than 90 nationalities work on a shared dream: becoming proficient in a foreign language. In order to respond as well as possible to students’ diverse cultural backgrounds during Dutch lessons, STE Languages’ Dutch teachers attended an “Intercultural Communication” workshop last Friday, given by Annemarie Nuwenhoud, NT-2 teacher and departmental head at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

“I don't just want to write about crimes, but also really want to change something”. As an investigative journalist, she exposed major crimes. For this she received two special prizes. She moved from Colombia to the Netherlands in 2022 for love. She brought her journalistic ambitions with her and followed Dutch language training at STE Languages. Last weekend STE Languages was present at the 'Living In Lounge - International Community & Language', at de Bibliotheek Eindhoven organised by Holland Expat Center South. A diverse gathering of internationals converged at a thrilling event, creating a unique platform for cultural exchange and language learning opportunities. The event featured a wide array of activities such as mini-lessons, workshops and the chance for attendees to connect and share their experiences. It was evident once again that many internationals harbor a genuine curiosity for the Dutch culture and are eagerly looking forward to mastering the Dutch language. STE Languages is a proud sponsor of Eindhoven Cricket Club (ECC). Eindhoven Cricket Club organises every year an outdoor tournament at their cricket pitch in Eindhoven. The aim of this tournament is to promote the game of cricket in the Noord-Brabant Region. People from different nationalities take part in this tournament to enjoy and have a lovely time with their friends and family. Cricket is a game which brings people together irrespective of their religion, country, race or color, and displays true sportsmanship.

STE Languages has been providing language training for van Geloven for many years. Recently, Van Geloven and STE Languages have continued their collaboration and signed a 3-year partnership contract.
