Tel mee met Taal grants

Taking a language course can be interesting if you want to develop yourself and increase your opportunities in the labour market. Good language skills are also essential for companies to improve internal communication, safety in the workplace and international trade relations.

By investing in language, you are stronger and more competitive. That is why it is good to know that there are various subsidy options for companies and individuals.

Tel mee met Taal
Investing in language skills is good for both employees and employers. To encourage this, the government has developed the subsidy scheme 'Tel mee met Taal'. You can receive a subsidy of up to 67% for Dutch language training.

In 2024, it will again be possible for employees who do not have a good command of Dutch to apply for this subsidy for language training. This concerns employees with a language level below B1, i.e., functioning at A1, A1, A1+, A2, A2+ or B1 level. Improving employee’s Dutch language skills has a positive effect on the quality of work, cooperation, safety and employability.  

Under the subsidy scheme, you can apply - between 1 January and 29 February 2024 - for a subsidy of up to 67% of the costs and up to EUR 1,500 per course participant. Certainly, an appealing scheme!
