Who are we?
STE Languages has been a leading language institute in the Netherlands for almost 30 years. We provide language training in more than 20 languages, either individually or in groups, intensively or more spread out, in-company, online, or on location at STE Languages. Our teachers are experienced, qualified, and native speakers. Our training programs are highly appreciated by our clients and customers, as evidenced by STE Languages achieving a score of 96.3% good to very good service in the independent Cedeo survey conducted in 2023. STE Languages provides language training annually for approximately 4,500 internationals/expats, immigrants, and labor migrants.
For the Sales team, we are looking for an enterprising, commercial, and relationship-oriented Key Account Manager. In this challenging role, you are responsible for building and maintaining sustainable relationships, identifying customer needs, and increasing our market position. As a Key Account Manager, you are excellent at establishing contacts with potential customers and maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing, strategic, and large customers. You listen to the questions and wishes of the customer and match these with the language solutions that STE Languages has to offer. You also advise and convince the customers of the high quality of our services and the value we add. What are the tasks involved?
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships is central;
- Mapping customer wishes and needs concerning language training;
- Actively seeking out and following up on new commercial opportunities;
- Monitoring, guiding, and guarding the 'client journey' to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Drafting, maintaining, and negotiating tailor-made contracts;
- Coordinating tasks and responsibilities based on these customer needs to ensure smooth service delivery;
- The position involves a business-to-business environment where you work closely with various leading companies in different market
segments throughout the Netherlands;
- Actively acting as a sparring partner for the management in the area of sales;
- Thinking along about innovation and expansion of our services;
- Strengthening and expanding the market position of our company, both with existing and new customers.
What are we looking for?
- A completed HBO education or comparable thinking and working level;
- At least 4-6 years of experience in a commercial role;
- Strong communication skills, customer-oriented, commercially minded, and capable of building relationships;
- Ability to work independently;
- Affinity with learning and development, language, and culture;
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English in word and writing.
