STE Languages is providing Dutch language training courses for students whose native tongue is Turkish

There are still many Turkish people living in the Eindhoven region who do not yet have good Dutch language skills. This target group does not, or only to a limited extent, speak English which is the support language generally used to learn Dutch. This target group is also difficult to reach. STE Languages has therefore developed, together with the Turkish/Dutch trainer Seyda Turgut, a unique, accessible, Dutch language course with Turkish as the support language.

Best Costume Carnaval party

Over the past few days, we have again been immersed in the special world of Carnival. One of the most colourful and biggest folk festivals in the Netherlands broke out. Also in Eindhoven, which is called “Lampegat” during the carnival period and where you regularly encounter the term “SALAAI”. “SALAAI” means the same as “ALAAF” and is a reference to the “11th Commandment - Enjoy”. Wearing a striking costume (called “pekske” in Brabant) is one of the freedoms of Carnival.
