You don't become a leading language institute overnight. This actually requires a great deal of experience. Our roots lie in the Philips 'Language Education Department'. STE Languages has provided language education in the form of language training programs, language courses, e-learning and workshops for 25 years. So you know that you can rely on our expertise, gained from our extensive experience.
STE Languages is a vibrant, intercultural institute. Over 20 languages can be heard echoing throughout our classrooms, where more than 80 nationalities work on a shared dream - to become proficient in a foreign language. Internationals strengthen their language skills and therefore perform better and foreigners learn the Dutch language and gain an understanding of Dutch culture. STE Languages also provides in-company language training for daily use, with tailor-made solutions for every language issue.

STE has been awarded the Blik op Werk quality mark. This quality mark signifies that our language institute meets the high-quality DUO requirements . Students with a loan / allowance from DUO can only study at a language institute with the Blik op Werk quality mark. Students usually hear about STE through their personal networks or are referred to us by their company, the municipality or ‘’Vluchtelingenwerk’’.
On average 93% of STE students pass the State Exams, while the national pass rate is around 65%. STE exam training courses were given a score of 8.2 by students in 2020. Every 2 years Cedeo, an independent quality organization in the sector, conducts a customer satisfaction survey among STE's customers. STE achieved a score of 96.3% (“good to very good service”), which means that it is well above the average in the market and above the benchmark standard set by Cedeo.
