STE Languages has an extensive experience in supervising grant applications and can provide you with targeted support.
We list the most important subsidies Tel mee met Taal en SOOB:
Investing in language skills is good for both employees and employers. To encourage this, the government has developed the subsidy scheme 'Tel mee met Taal'. You can receive a subsidy of up to 67% for Dutch language training.
In 2024, it will again be possible for employees who do not have a good command of Dutch to apply for this subsidy for language training. This concerns employees with a language level below B1, i.e., functioning at A1, A1, A1+, A2, A2+ or B1 level. Improving employee’s Dutch language skills has a positive effect on the quality of work, cooperation, safety and employability.
Under the subsidy scheme, you can apply - between 1 January and 29 February 2024 - for a subsidy of up to 67% of the costs and up to EUR 1,500 per course participant. Certainly, an appealing scheme!
From 1st January 2024 there is an individual training budget of €2,500 available for employees in the transport and logistics sector. This amount can be used for language training.
The employee requests the budget himself/herself. STE offers both group and individual training in Dutch, English and German. The group course consists of 15 lessons of 2 hours. The employee can follow lessons on location at STE and/or online.
Anyone in the transport and logistics sector can apply for the training budget if the following conditions are met:
The employee has a permanent or temporary contract for at least 24 hours per week, with an employer in the transport and logistics sector.
The employee provides a recent pay slip confirming that an SOOB subsidy has been paid.
