Masterclass on Cultural Intelligence for Expats
4 june 2026
Moving to another country is a major step. Expats often leave behind their familiar surroundings and embark on a new adventure. What many people do not realise, however, is that this transition also offers a unique opportunity for personal growth and development. Cultural intelligence (CQ) plays an important role in this process.
On 12 May, STE Languages organised an inspiring masterclass with expat coach Anna Andersson. During the session, participants gained insights into how they can remain true to themselves in a new cultural environment, discover their own cultural identity, and take practical steps towards successfully finding their place in a new country.
Anna Andersson shared practical advice and valuable insights drawn from her experience as an expat coach. Her message was clear: a successful international experience begins with understanding yourself and recognising the influence of culture on your daily life.
Through her coaching practice, Anna helps expats shape their lives abroad in a way that aligns with their personal values and goals. Her mission is to support people in discovering their cultural identity and creating a successful and meaningful experience overseas.
