Evening Team Assistant (Part-Time job for (STE) students
The position of Evening Team Assistant is available for students or STE participants who are looking for a part-time job alongside their studies or language training.
For more than 30 years, STE Languages has been one of the leading language institutes in the Netherlands. We provide language training in more than 20 languages, either individually or in groups, intensive or spread over a longer period, in-company, online, or at one of our STE Languages locations. Our trainers are experienced, qualified native speakers, and our courses are highly valued by both clients and organisations. Every year, we provide language training to approximately 5,000 internationals, expats, civic integration learners, and migrant workers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our evening team. Together with your colleagues, you will help ensure that our evening classes run smoothly and that learners feel welcome from the moment they arrive. You will support a variety of administrative and facility-related tasks and assist at reception when needed. Thanks to your efforts, learners and trainers can focus entirely on the learning experience.
What will you do?
• Welcome learners, trainers, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner;
• Answer learners' questions and assist them where needed;
• Occasionally support the reception desk and act as the first point of contact;
• Perform light administrative tasks;
• Prepare and organise course materials such as books, handouts, and folders;
• Ensure that the coffee corner and other supplies are well stocked;
• Manage and check classrooms and communal areas;
• Support facility-related tasks, including handling incoming mail and parcels;
• Replenish office and classroom supplies;
• Contribute to a tidy, professional, and welcoming learning environment.

• You enjoy working with and helping people;
• You are welcoming, professional, and service-oriented;
• You can work independently and proactively identify tasks that need attention;
• You can easily switch between different responsibilities;
• You remain calm under pressure and maintain a good overview of priorities;
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Dutch language proficiency at B2 level;
• English language proficiency at B2 level.
