Good to hear that you, as an employer, wish to participate in the “Employer approach: Dutch language for international employees.”

As a language institute, we are one of the designated parties that are allowed to give the language courses. At the High-Tech Campus, we are starting a course for which various High-Tech Campus employers can register their employees.

You can register your eligible employees (up to a maximum of B1 level) via this form.

We will then contact the candidates to schedule an intake interview. Subsequently, it will be determined which levels we will start and on which date. We will share this with both the candidates and with your point of contact.

The language training is Dutch A1 to B1 Nt2 for highly educated people and is a general language course, in which all skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) are covered, and grammar knowledge and vocabulary are significantly expanded. During lessons, attention is also paid to typical Dutch culture and customs. Students progress from their own starting level to subsequent language levels. They take structured steps towards a better understanding of the Dutch language and make clear progress in terms of language actions, vocabulary, idioms, and grammar. The aim of training is to achieve a higher language proficiency. Attention is also paid to Dutch culture.

The training will consist of 38 hours, divided into 19 lessons of 2 hours. 38 hours of training is offered with a frequency of 1 lesson per week (regular) and 2 lessons per week (intensive). The characteristic of the intensive training is that an increase in level is achieved in 10 weeks. Students must take into account 2-4 hours of homework per lesson. After this initial course, there is the possibility to enroll in a follow-up course, also of 38 hours, for the next level.

The training concludes with an assessment. If the result is satisfactory, students will receive a certificate. The certificate states the achieved final level achieved in accordance with the Common European Reference Framework (CEFR).

Training is given at the High-Tech Campus location (High Tech Campus 1, Professor Holstlaan 4) in Eindhoven. The lessons are delivered face to face, in groups. Books and course material are provided in the first lesson.
