Language Subsidy

10 november 2021

Language subsidy

Taking a language course can be an advantage if you want to develop yourself and increase your opportunities in the labour market. Good language skills are also essential for companies to improve internal communication, safety in the workplace and international trade relations.
By investing in language, you are stronger and more competitive, and that is why it is good to know that there are various subsidy options for companies and individuals.

STE Languages has extensive experience in administering grant applications and can provide you with targeted support.

Tel mee met taal

Are you interested in receiving a subsidy that can be used to improve the Dutch language skills of (international) employees and labour migrants? A good command of Dutch is important and those who master the language feel more comfortable and perform better. Good language skills are often self-evident for Dutch people but less evident for employees who come from abroad. The attractive subsidy scheme “Tel mee met Taal” means that, as an employer, you can receive up to 67% subsidy for Dutch language training.

STAP-budget

Would you like to receive a subsidy to help with costs towards developing yourself through learning or improving a foreign language skill? The STAP Budget Subsidy may be an appealing opportunity for you. From 1st March 2022, employees and job seekers can apply for a STAP Budget of up to €1,000 for training and development. People can use this subsidy to make themselves more competitive in the labour market.

You can pre-register for the STAP scheme now. This way you are assured of a registration on time. We will get back to you in January. Don't miss out on this attractive subsidy scheme because when it's gone, it’s gone!
