We are pleased to inform you that STE Languages ​​will undergo a change of ownership structure as of 05-03-2020. Managing director Willem van der Velden will step down and ownership will pass to Mathilde Lageman and Wilfried Gradus. Mathilde Lageman, who has been with STE since 2002, has been co-owner and director of STE Languages ​​since 2015.

In 1995, Study Center Talen Eindhoven (STE), which originated from Philips Talenonderwijs, was founded. In 2005 the ownership of STE passed to Willem van der Velden who was in charge of the management together with Mathilde Lageman. STE Languages ​​has grown significantly over the past 10 years and has since become a respected and valued partner of internationally oriented companies and organizations in the Southeast Netherlands region. Companies and organizations that understand the importance of reliable communication. They realize that a (better) command of a language enables them to serve the customer well. In addition, they facilitate their own employees to move better in a dynamic world where communication is of great importance.

About the owners

Mathilde Lageman - Director

Mathilde Lageman immediately went into education after her master's degree in English at the University of Leiden. For a long time she worked at the University of Economics in Rotterdam, where she was an English teacher and coordinator of various student and business projects. Once settled in Eindhoven, she continued her career at STE - as a trainer and language coordinator for English, a member of the management team and ultimately as co-owner and member of the board. Her focus is on the quality and content of training, the professionalism of the STE trainers and the internal organization.

Wilfried Gradus - Director

Wilfried Gradus is a business economist and register marketer. He has many years of experience as a manager in the ICT & Telecom, business services, training & education and Healthcare sectors. He has worked for a number of large international organizations such as Orange and Telecom Italia / BBned and held responsible positions in the commercial organization and marketing strategy. Within STE Languages ​​he will focus on business development, marketing & sales and finance.
