I especially appreciated the use of games during the lessons and working in pairs or small groups, which made the classes more engaging and helped everyone actively participate. Het was heel leuk, grappig en gezellig! Ik vind de manier waarop Wim met zijn cursisten omgaat erg fijn: hij is altijd vriendelijk, aandachtig en hij onthoudt zelfs de kleinste details. Ik vind het ook prettig dat ik mijn huiswerk een keer kan overslaan als dat door mijn werk of persoonlijke omstandigheden nodig is. Dat is voor mij erg belangrijk. Here I want to share my experience with the A1- Dutch course I took this time. I had the least level of understanding of Dutch at the beginning, and after the course, I am able to understand basic Dutch. I can read, write, and speak elementary sentences in everyday conversation in the office, trains/buses, and supermarkets. The teacher, Perdeip, is great. He made a good class environment. The textbook provided gave examples of basic Dutch conversation in simple contexts like supermarkets. The online learning material was very helpful. It was 2 h online class and we had a flexible break of 15 min during the class. I am happy with the class format. One demerit was that the grammar book, "A Practical Dutch Grammar," was not provided to us, either in hard-copy or online. But Perdiep sent us images of that, and so we could manage it.
