Working for STE Languages
STE Languages is always looking for expert language trainers who enjoy teaching highly-motivated course participants. Our driven employees are dedicated to their profession and like sharing their enthusiasm with their course participants. You could be the team player we are looking for!
To the best of their ability
As a language trainer, you make the most of someone’s talents. You know how important language is for the course participant’s personal development. What’s more, you know how to inspire people. You give advice and honest feedback if there are any questions. Of course, you have sufficient pedagogical skills and are very empathic. Just like your colleagues at STE Languages. We work with a wide range of innovative teaching tools, so you will gain experience with the latest course material and multimedia tools for language learning. To sum up: working for STE Languages means investing in your own professional development.
One of our language trainers in the spotlight…
Riet Spitters has worked for STE Languages for a few years now. “This is the fourth language institute I’ve worked for, so I know quite a bit about the sector. STE Languages is an open, fair and transparent organisation,” explains Riet. “I’m working with great colleagues who are always prepared to help out if I have any questions. The planning & organisation department knows when I am available and takes my wishes and requirements into account. It works really well,’’ says Riet. “Additional motivation for me? The profit-sharing percentage! I think it’s a good principle and a great gesture.”
“As to my personal development? STE Languages organises regular train-the-trainer sessions. Language trainers can also attend various national training days for which STE Languages picks up the bill.” On the course participants she teaches: ”They are always highly motivated. The majority of them either work in business or study at university. There are never more than 9 course participants in a group so everyone receives plenty of individual attention and feedback. You hear all the languages of the world in the corridors of STE Languages. It’s one of the things that makes this work so very special.”
